Sunset Rubdown - Dragonslayer
It feels like forever since Sunset Rubdown’s stellar Random Spirit Lover dropped but in actuality it was only a year and a half ago. I’ll be marking my calendar until June 23rd when Jagjaguwar releases their third album Dragonslayer. I noticed that the tracklisting features “Paper Lace” which is also included on the new release Enemy Mine from Swan Lake one of Spencer Krugs other projects. I hope that this is a complete reworking of the track and not a direct port; if the difference between “I’ll believe in Anything” on the first Sunset Rubdown album and the Wolf Parade take on the song is any indication it will be the former.
